FCE and CAE mock exams

Would you like to sit a supervised FCE or CAE mock exam to find out if you are ready for the challenge of the real exam?

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding mock exams here at the school on Tuesday, 16th March at 09:30, Wednesday, 17th March at 14:30 and Thursday, 18th March at 17:30.  You do not need to be a student at the school to take a mock exam with us, so if you are considering enrolling on one of our exam courses or on sitting an exam here at the school in June please feel free to contact to register to sit a mock exam. It is important that all prospective exam students sit a mock exam so that you are aware of your strengths and weaknesses before starting your exam course and to give you an idea of the grade that you could achieve.

The mock exams consist of:

  • Two parts of the Reading paper (40 minutes)
  • Three parts of the Use of English paper (45 minutes)
  • One writing task (45 minutes)

The exam will take a total of two hours. When you have finished the exam it will be collected and marked. If you are currently studying with us your teacher(s) will speak to you the week after the mock exam and give you their recommendations. Our teachers discuss their recommendations with our Director of Studies to make sure that each and every student is given the best possible advice.

It is school policy that all students who register for our FCE or CAE exam courses sit a mock exam before beginning their course with us. If you are unable to sit a mock exam on the above date please do not worry however as we are more than happy to arrange for you to sit the exam here at the school on an alternative date. We can also send an exam paper out to you so that you can complete it in your free time.
