Course Description 

The General English classes concentrate on improving every aspect of your English. We firmly believe in developing each student's communicative competence so that you are able to activate the language you already have, and build on this further in a stimulating and motivating environment.

In any typical week, you will work on developing and improving communication skills and the focus in the classroom is on using language in real situations.

In your General English class, you will work on:

• Spoken production
• Spoken interaction
• Listening
• Reading
• Writing
• Pronunciation
• Grammar
• Vocabulary

Levels 

The levels of the classes range from complete beginner (A1) to proficiency (C2) and you will have a placement test on your first day to find the right level for you.

Homework

On this course you are given one hour's homework every day. Our programme of studies follows a syllabus which ensures steady progress, and you are tested every Friday to give you the opportunity to check your knowledge. In addition, you will have a tutorial with your teacher at the end of each week to discuss your progress and make sure your individual needs are being met.

Other General English Courses

We also offer Skills Specialisations classes for General English, where you can study either Speaking & Listening, Reading & Writing or Grammar & Vocabulary for one hour per day Monday - Friday.
