Sights & Attractions

The Houses of Parliament & Big Ben

The clock tower known as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament are known collectively as the Palace of Westminster and have been the seat of the British Government for centuries. During the summer, visitors can buy tickets to a tour of Parliament.

London Eye

One of the newest and most famous London sights, the London Eye is a fantastic way to view the city skyline. Buy tickets in advance or turn up on the day you wish to visit. Open 10am - 8pm daily with later opening times during the summer months.

Tower of London

With its centuries of history and tradition, the Tower of London continues to fascinate visitors today. Once a royal palace, an armoury and mint, the Tower of London now houses the Crown Jewels and visitors can enjoy exploring the fortress with a free Yeoman Warder tour. Open daily 9/10am - 4.30/5.30pm.

Buckingham Palace

The official London residence of Her Majesty the Queen is open to the public during the summer months. Visitors can see nineteen state rooms decorated with magnificent treasures. Open 29th July - 29th September 9.45am - 6pm. The Changing of the Guard also takes place regularly outside the palace.

Madame Tussauds

See famous Hollywood stars, musicians and historical figures at this world-famous waxworks museum. Have your picture taken with the Royal family or tour the dungeons with its Chamber of Horrors for a unique experience.

Museums & Art Galleries

British Museum

Discover ancient artefacts from all over the world at this world famous museum. The Rosetta Stone and sculptures from the Parthenon can be found here dating back thousands of years. Open daily 10am - 5.30pm.

Tate Modern

Situated on the South Bank, this impressive gallery was formerly a power station and was transformed into a gallery in 2000. Tate Modern houses an impressive collection of internation modern art and is worth a trip along the river to take in the views of the city. Open daily 10am - 6pm, late opening until 11pm Fridays and Saturdays.

National Gallery

With its fantastic location in Trafalgar Square, this huge gallery contains a number of European masterpieces, including works by Van Gogh, Cezanne, Constable and Da Vinci. Open daily 10am - 6pm.
