Course Description
The University Preparation Course is ideal for students planning to study at a British or international University. The course combines General English with intensive one-to-one sessions which take place twice a week. Students receive the benefit of participating in group classes, building their communication skills, as well as receiving tailored tuition from an experienced teacher in their private classes.
The one-to-one classes include a complete needs analysis and a programme of work, agreed on by the teacher and the student, so that study aims can be achieved within a realistic timeframe. The focus of these classes varies depending on the needs of the student. Typical areas may be:
- Targeting weaknesses in the English Language
- Skills work, consolidation from General English classes
- Academic writing
- University application process assistance
- General preparation for life at university
