Stay with other students in ideal independent accommodation

Living in a residence with other mainly young adults gives you independence and freedom.  Students enjoy the opportunity to meet each other in the shared recreational rooms and have easy access to both the school and to central London.

Belsize Hostel

Belsize Hostel is 20 - 30 minutes travel time from the school in a friendly and well-located residential area. The hostel has mainly twin, triple and there are also some single rooms.  Bathrooms are shared.  Students stay on a half board basis and have access to the facilities, including a large restaurant area, communal rooms and a lovely garden. Students enjoy eating their meals together in the evenings.  Belsize Hostel is ideal for students who enjoy the youth hostel style of living. 

Bartrams Hostel (excl. August)

Managed by nuns, this residence accepts females only of any religion. It is located in a lovely part of Hampstead next to the Royal Free Hospital; about 30 minutes walk from the school. The facilities are excellent and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. Students have their own key and there is no curfew.  Accommodation is in single rooms with B&B and dinner Monday to Friday. There are also kitchen facilities which students may use to make snacks or meals at weekends. This suits female students who would like to live in a large, well-ordered hostel.  

Kings Residence (July & August only)

Kings, a college of the University of London, has a large student residence opposite Hampstead School of English.  In the summer, the accommodation is available for Hampstead School students. Most of the rooms are single; bathrooms and toilets are shared and are cleaned once a day. There is a large restaurant, which serves buffet style breakfast and dinner and students can book for Bed & Breakfast or half board.  Students staying at the Kings Residence also enjoy the convenience of easy travel routes to central London as well as a two minute walk to the school.
